ABOUT PRO SKILLS BASKETBALL & RUN IT BACK HOOPS

Youth basketball is often disorganized, overly focused on winning, and frustrating for families. At Pro Skills Basketball (PSB), we’re changing that. We provide a more professional, organized, and empowering experience for parents, players, and coaches—built on communication, mutual respect, fun, and personal growth.

Run It Back Hoops (RiB) is the tournament division of PSB. RiB events are single or multi-day basketball events for players in 3rd through 8th grade. RiB is committed to creating a kid-friendly environment based on fair competition, organization,  inclusivity, and civility.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Pro Skills Basketball (PSB) is seeking driven and outgoing individuals for our Sales & Outreach Internship. Interns will work closely with PSB City Directors & RiB Hoops leaders to support the growth of our tournaments and leagues by identifying and connecting with potential coaches, teams, and clubs. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in sales, marketing, and grassroots outreach within the youth sports industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Intern responsibilities may include:

• Work with PSB City Directors and RiB leaders to develop and execute team recruiting strategies
• Contact and build relationships with clubs, teams, coaches, and youth sports organizations
• Identify and pursue leads for RiB event team registrations
• Assist in creating and delivering outreach materials such as emails, flyers, and presentations
• Track and manage outreach progress using PSB’s CRM and reporting tools
• Participate in regular virtual check-ins with PSB City Directors, RiB leaders, and internship coordinators

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Passionate about youth sports and basketball
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable reaching out via phone, email, or in person to potential customers
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage outreach goals
• Sales, marketing, or business background preferred but not required
